I read a very interesting article in the New York Times about sleep and lack of it. I recommend reading it. People who get enough sleep live longer than people who don't. I've been interested in sleep for a long time. What does that have to do with the picture above? Absolutely nothing! I just got this picture and some others not too long ago, so since I didn't have 'sleep' picture to put with this post, I thought I'd put this up there. It was taken on the Heidelberg castle grounds.
Last night I played poker with some friends, and I won! I’ve played for awhile now and I’ve gotten close to winning before, but I’ve never won.
I was steadily losing money until we switched decks, and, bam, I started winning! I admit I got really lucky. It’s easy to win when you have the cards to back it up; when you don’t have to bluff.
Disclaimer: We each only put in 5 Euros (about $6.50) for the whole night, so although we played for money, it certainly wasn’t high stakes, and I believe we can all afford it. I won 20 Euro and 2nd place won 10 and 3rd won their 5 Euro entry fee. There were only 7 of us.
If you can't see the above pictures, then you can go here and see any which one you want! I hope you like them!
If I do a search on Google for "Klepzig" then I'm on the first page. If I do one on Microsoft's Live search (Live), then I get nothing. I looked for a few pages and nothing. It's not that much better for Michael Klepzig or Mike Klepzig either. I would have thought that "Mike Klepzig" or "Michael Klepzig" would have brought some decent results, but I get stuff from old blogs and other old sites.
Okay, so I need to add some more recent photos and some more recent videos, like I did yesterday, and then maybe the search results for "Mike Klepzig" will actually point to me. I guess I need some actual content. :-)
How well does your name Google? Who are you up against? (Celebrities, etc.)

Well, my last name, "Klepzig," Googles me as the 6th one down, and it's actually my blog on Vox, which is cool! If I Google with my first name, "Michael Klepzig," the first two results are posts that I've written for Slate & Techdirt, and the third is actually "7 Posts tagged "vox hunt"" and includes one Vox Hunt where I Google my name and captured the images and included them in the post. So the more I include "Mike Klepzig" and "Michael Klepzig" the more it seems to boost my ratings. Did I mention "Mike Klepzig" and "Michael Klepzig"?
I actually don't have much competition on the "Michael Klepzig" front, but on the "Klepzig" front, there's a Roland Klepzig & Co. LLP, Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors, as well as K
